The Greatest Story Ever Told or Was it?

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite, the guys start the show off talking about where they have been, the crazy weather in Texas, and people who refuse advice. Then they talk about ice cream and how simple flavors are the best! A person driving sees an upright walking Dogman/Hyena walking in the road. After speaking with friends and locals in the area, they now believe it was a skinwalker!

Then a listener writes in to the show about a possible Gnome or Elf sighting! Back in 2016-2107 a person in their bedroom around 11:00 pm when they had a very unusual encounter. When they turned the light on in their room they saw a strange elf-like creature run away quickly.

After the break, Kyle brings up The Greatest Story Ever Told by Harry D. Colp! WHAT was the secret of Alaska’s Thomas Bay? It held fabulous wealth in gold, but, for most men, even gold wasn’t enough to lure them there. Yet, brave men dared to visit its bleak shores. Some returned horror-stricken, refusing to talk about what they had seen. Some returned insane, with terror written in their eyes. Some never returned! One of the first men to come back from what was to become known as the Devil’s Country was shaken and afraid. He begged his partners to stake him to a ticket to Seattle and left Alaska forever. What was out there? Was it supernatural or was there a more realistic reason behind the bizarre sightings?

Stranger Than Strange

February 7th 2021 at 04:14

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives, the guys start the show off by talking about where they have been lately, including the passing of Kyle’s father-in-law John. Then they get into some new stories including a strange sighting by a deer hunter in Wisconsin who was terrorized by grey aliens! Back in October 1998 a father and son were bowhunting one evening when they saw strange lights in the trees and much, much more. Then, a radio DJ who worked at a haunted radio station was followed home by some unknown entity. For some reason, the entity did not like the radio host but was protected by a cousin and grandfather who had already passed on.

After the break, Kyle brings up some really bizarre encounters with Sasquatch/Bigfoot. Most encounters with this alleged hairy creature of the woods are strange enough, but some are really weird. Stories of long ongoing relationships, strange languages, ties to cavemen or devolved humans, time portals, and yes even UFOs. All of this and more on this episode of Expanded Perspectives!

Tales From the Road

November 18th 2020 at 02:58
By: Kyle

Tales From the Road

There can be no doubt that few places are as isolating, lonely, and remote as a road stretching from one coast to another. In very remote places and often very late at night or early in the morning. No one else knows just quite how strange the meandering roads of the night are than long-haul truckers, who spend the majority of their days off on these avenues of the often frightening and strange. If anyone knows the roads, it’s truckers, and they have had some very weird, frequently surreal, and often downright bizarre encounters.

The Amber Room

November 13th 2020 at 03:36

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys start the show off talking about what they have been up to lately. Then, Kyle talks about a recent sighting of a large bioluminescent flying Bat Man seen in Guyana, South America. Then, Cam tells a horrific story of a man abducted and then killed by a Sasquatch back in the 1970s.

After the break Cam tells the strange story about the lost Amber Room! During WWII, Hitler’s Nazis stole some 600,000 pieces of art from across Europe. By the end of the war, billions of pounds worth of artwork had been scattered to the four winds, the Nazi looting had been on an industrial scale. Whilst some pieces of stolen art have been returned to their rightful owners, many are still missing, including a priceless collection of stunning amber panels, known as the Amber Room – perhaps the most valuable items ever looted by the fascist regime. The room was called the ‘Eighth Wonder of the World’ and one of Russia’s most treasured artifacts. After its looting, the room was returned to Germany and put on display, but it disappeared in the closing months of the war. Its fate is one of the greatest mysteries of WWII.

Aggression In The Woods

Aggression In The Woods

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite, Cam starts the show off talking about his allergies and how Skelekin Studios has moved once again. This time the studio is being built at Cam’s house and hopefully they will not need to move again. Then, Cam gets into some strange tales of Bigfoot or Sasquatch being over aggressive in the woods.

The legends of Bigfoot go back beyond recorded history and cover the world. In North America – and particularly the Northwest – you can hear tales of seven-foot-tall hairy men stalking the woods, occasionally scaring campers, lumberjacks, hikers and the like.

Bigfoot is known by many titles with many different cultures although the name Bigfoot is generally attributed to the mountainous Western region of North America. The common name Sasquatch comes from the Salish Sasquits, while the Algonquin of the north-central region of the continent refer to a Witiko or Wendigo. Other nations tell of a large creature much like a man but imbued with special powers and characteristics. The Ojibway of the Northern Plains believed the Rugaru appeared in times of danger and other nations agreed that the hairy apparition was a messenger of warning, telling man to change his ways. Why are some sightings peaceful while others are not?

Beyond The Fray

October 9th 2020 at 02:25

Shannon has been interested in the paranormal since she was a teen, after her own personal sighting of something truly anomalous. And, although it’s not what her encounter entailed, one of her passions is the subject of Sasquatch. Her weekly show, INTO THE FRAY has Shannon speaking to witnesses of cryptids, UFOs, and various aspects of the paranormal. She has co-authored books on both Bigfoot and the Paranormal, and founded Beyond the Fray Publishing with best-selling author, G. Michael Hopf. Early Airship Scares

October 1st 2020 at 17:32

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys start the show off talking about their week, allergies and other things that have been happening to them in general before they get into the news. Then, a woman in West Virginia saw two wolves much larger than they should have been. She believes that they were in fact Werewolves! Then a listener of the show writes in with her very own time slip experience one day while out walking her dog.

After the break, Kyle brings up the Airscare of the late 19th and early 20th century. Kenneth Arnold is generally given credit for kicking off the UFO object craze in 1947 by sighting what he called “Flying Saucers” in the skies over the Pacific Northwest. However, 50 years before, Sacramento grabbed the attention of the entire nation when a giant object was spotted one night flying over the capital city. The mystery of the secret airship flying over Sacramento on a storm swept November night in the late 19th century was never solved, and the story spread throughout the nation with eventual sightings in the Midwest, Texas, Massachusetts, New York, Great Britain, Australia and even New Zealand.

What were these mysterious aircraft seen over the cities and fields of North America and beyond? Was it something cooked up by the media to spark paper sales? Was the United States experimenting with a torpedo-shaped balloon? Was it a secret social club experimenting with some incredible feats in early aviation or was it something extra-terrestrial?

Sasquatch Tracks

September 18th 2020 at 03:03

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys talk to friends and colleagues Micah Hanks, Dakota Waddell and Jeff smith about their new podcast “Sasquatch Tracks“.  Sasquatch Tracks examines the question of whether large undiscovered species may still exist, with special emphasis on the Sasquatch in North America, and similar claims of apelike “relict hominoids” and other animals purported to exist around the world.

Their approach is critically minded, yet open to the possibility that the world of zoology may have kept a few secrets–possibly even big ones–well into the modern era. As recently as 1976, discoveries like the megamouth shark by a U.S navy research vessel near Oahu, Hawaii, have shown that some large species have indeed managed to elude us. Similar discoveries like the okapi (Okapia johnstoni) in 1901, as well as the mountain gorilla (Gorilla gorilla beringei) the following year in 1902 have turned up new specimens that surprised scientists and expanded our knowledge of the natural world.

The study of cryptozoology entails the scientific search for animals, both great and small, that remain undiscovered by science. Some discoveries may come out of the blue, with a previously unrecognized specimen turning up in the wild, or even in existing museum collections of fossils retrieved decades beforehand. Other times, the cultural traditions and folklore of indigenous groups may provide scientists with clues about new, undiscovered species. Unfortunately, cryptozoology is often deemed “pseudoscience” on account of its association with fantastic claims; these are often presented in a sensational way that offers little incentive for serious biologists, anthropologists, zoologists, or other professionals who otherwise might be interested in at least considering such topics.

Extinct or Extant?

August 27th 2020 at 01:57

Extinct or Extant?

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives Elite! Cam talks about some strange creatures seen in the deepest parts of the Congo and Amazon jungles! It may sound like fiction, but it is not. Prehistoric dinosaurs and giant reptiles thought to be extinct millions of years have allegedly been spotted in remote parts of Africa and South America. These sightings are by tribesmen of the region, natives living without the luxuries of a modern society like books, televisions, and cell phones. Yet, they uncannily describe beasts that any of us would easily recognize as a known dinosaur species. You don’t have to believe them, but you should open your mind and let your imagination wander.

Creatures like Mokele Mbembe – This is probably the most famous African dinosaur supposedly living in the Congo River basin of Africa. Legendary sightings by natives go back over 200 years. Based upon descriptions provided, this creature resembles a Sauropod dinosaur. Sauropods had a body like an elephant, a long tail, long neck and a small head. Dinosaurs in this category include Brontosaurus, Diplodocus and Apatosaurus. Mbielu-mbielu-mbielu – This creature allegedly resides in the Likouala Region of the Republic of the Congo and has been observed near two different villages. It is described as a large amphibious reptile with plates growing from its back. Based on descriptions, some equate it to the long-extinct dinosaur we know as Stegosaurus.

Nguma-monene – Nguma-monene loosely translates to large boa/python in Lingala language. This is a semi-aquatic giant serpentine living in the swamps/rivers of the Congo. It is described as a large low-slung lizard with a long tail, sharp teeth, and serrated ridges running down its back. Some describe it as snake-like. It is allegedly about 30 feet long, grayish-brown and has been known to attack hippos. Or even the Ngoubou – This is a non-aquatic creature allegedly living in the rainforests of Central Africa and savanna region of Cameroon. Resembling a rhinoceros, Pygmies call this one Ngoubou, which is the local word for rhinoceros. However, unlike rhinos this creature has multiple horns, is about the size of a small ox and fights elephants.

Life After Life

August 22nd 2020 at 03:22

On this episode of Expanded Perspectives the guys start the show off talking about how the kids are back in school, the Stanley Cup playoffs are back, Baseball is back and the NBA playoffs are back. Then they get into the news with a sighting of a new species of shrew as well as many other creatures found for the first time in the last couple of years. Then, a listener writes in with some strange sightings they have had over the years.

After the break Kyle brings up some very strange cases of past lives! For nearly 15 years, Jim Tucker has been investigating claims made by children, usually between the ages of 2 and 6 years old, who say they’ve had past lives. The children are sometimes able to provide enough detail about those lives that their stories can be traced back to an actual person—rarely famous and often entirely unknown to the family—who died years before.
